EPSOM SALT

The 'Epsom Salt' project has been commissioned by Peter Allan. Peter is a keen motorcycle enthusiast and has been following various bikes over the years at the various Bonneville Land Speed meetings, and decided he wanted a shot himself at the A-PG or A-PF classes. As a result of asking around, the name Dick Smith of Baron's Speed Shop kept cropping up and Peter commissioned Dick to build him a record beater based around the classic pre-unit 650cc Triumph engine from the 60's.
There are two main events each year, Speed Week and BUB trials. Both happen in August. It hasn't been decided which event to attend yet. Speed Week is for both cars and motorcycles, and BUB is purely for motorcycles.
The classes we are attempting to break a record in are A-PG and A-PF. 'A' designates Special Construction, P designates a Pushrod engine, G represents Gas (Petrol) and F represents Fuel (Methanol etc)
Current Speed Week records are: A-PG 126.976 and A-PF 123.814
